An unbiased test of the range, accuracy, and sound of my Daisy Powerline 901 pellet gun with and without my homemade suppressor attached. This was filmed on a very windy day at 15 and 40 yard ranges. Grouping spread with suppressor at 15 yards was slightly wider, and grouping at 40 yards with the suppressor was lower, meaning velocity is only dropped slightly.

The gun is constructed of plastic and is rather fragile so it’s best suited for a more experienced airsoft player who isn’t going to drop it. The gun must be cocked for each shot, and it doesn’t deliver as much power as a true spring pistol as it propels the BBs with a spring loaded air pump.

I made a simple airsoft gun silencer. Using House Hold Materials, obtainable for little or no cost. Need pringles can, hot glue, stapler, scissors, shears toilet tissue plastic bag card paper or roll from paper towel time Yes the quality of video sucks bcoz I used my laptop camera. My honest opinion of the Echo 1 ASR advanced sniper rifle and what I did to upgrade this airsoft rifle to get consistent performance from it. I think the rifle needs some works out of the box.. there are a few things I thought needed replacement like the piston and spring guide, as well as the barrel spacers….and the barrel itself. Also slapped a custom silencer on it to give it a different look

I’m buying a green gas airsoft pistol. It’s nice and much better than spring powered. The only problem is I don’t want to ship it online. It’s explosive, so it costs like to ship. Anyone know any local retailers like Walmart or some place that specializes in airsoft products. If it helps, I live in Lafayette, Louisiana.
